                 Google informs us that their cars have been buzzing around the cities for a while now with no accidents. However, it will also be life changing when we have our own car which will drive it. The main question, however, is how long before that happens? How long do we have to wait to experience that for ourselves? There is no technological reason it should not be now. But, there is a problem that needs to be handled about insurance and liability which is still up in the air.

                Liability will be easy to sort out, for the insurance companies they are going to be thinking about how safe computer controlled cars are and that computers aside from people are less likely to have accidents. In addition to this it is important as well to consider that the companies are able to charge what they do now, although long term the price will go down meaning that there will be a major improvement in the quality of driving as well as the information as well for others.

                The legislative part is going to be complicated and there will be a major break on the economic development now as well. Even with new interest groups there still will be issues with finding ways to be able to improve this experience for others as well. This means that there will be major legislation as well coming and it will cost time and money as well to address the issue.

                In addition to this the next question is how are we able to get the big auto manufacturer’s in as well to make money off of this and start producing cars which will change things as well for the future. The long term effects of driverless cars will make things much better for others as well as will make things possible for the changes to take effect.
